Pricing

Alibaba Translation offers the first 1 million characters free each month. Charges for any excess will be 50￥ per million characters, and the fees will be collected by Alibaba Translation on its official Alibaba Cloud website.

Alibaba Translation is billed daily. It is recommended to recharge 1￥ at the Alibaba Cloud cost center and set a usage limit warning at 1￥, so you will receive an SMS reminder when the fee is deducted that day. However, please note that daily billing means that even if you exhaust your balance within a day, you will continue to be charged. You will only receive a reminder when the daily settlement occurs (usually at 1 AM).

Application Steps

1. Open the Alibaba Cloud official website and log in.
2. Open the Machine Translation Alibaba AI Translation Document Image Translation - Alibaba Cloud and click the "Activate Now" button. After logging in, you will enter the Alibaba Cloud Machine Translation Service Console.
3. Choose to activate the "General Translation" and "Professional Translation" versions.
4. Create an access key. Hover over the avatar in the upper right corner of the webpage and select AccessKey Management. It is best not to create keys directly, as keys created by the main account can access all resources in your account. Therefore, for safety, choose to create a sub-account, and the sub-account access method is "OpenAPI calling method."
5. After successful creation, you will see the "AccessKey ID" and "AccessKey Secret" for this sub-account. Fill them into this extension!
6. Open RAM Access Control, find [Identity Management] - [Users], select the user and "Add Permissions," then search for "Machine Translation" in "System Policies," and select both [AliyunMTFullAccess] and [AliyunMTReadOnlyAccess].

Error Troubleshooting

If Alibaba Translation reports a 400 error, you can try uninstalling the plugin and then reinstalling it, which usually resolves the issue.
