Introduction

Saladict is a browser extension. When you select a piece of text on a webpage, Saladict will display translations of this text from multiple translation services, allowing you to easily compare and copy translation results.

Saladict supports AI translation services including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude AI, as well as machine language translation services such as Google, DeepL, Baidu, Youdao, Caiyun Xiaoyi, Tencent Translator, Alibaba Cloud Translator, xiaoniu Translator, Volcano Translator, and Microsoft Azure Translator. This enables you to obtain more professional translation results in specialized fields like online literature, finance, technology, water conservancy machinery, biomedicine, e-commerce, and social media.

In addition to webpage text selection translation, Saladict also supports the following features:

Webpage Full Translation: Use any translation service to translate the entire text of a webpage at once, with upcoming support for bilingual comparison and separate display of original/translated text.
YouTube Subtitle Translation: Translate subtitles of YouTube videos by text selection.
PDF File Translation: You can read PDF files in the built-in PDF reader provided by Saladict and use the webpage text selection translation function normally.
