Pricing
The first 5 million characters per month are free, and any excess will be charged at 58 yuan per million characters. The fees are collected by Tencent Translation on its own Tencent Cloud official website. Since it is billed monthly, this means that even if you have exhausted the free quota within a natural month, Tencent Cloud will continue to charge until the beginning of the next month when a reminder will be issued. Therefore, please closely monitor your usage for the month. If you wish to receive notifications when Tencent Cloud charges monthly, it is recommended to recharge 1 yuan in the Tencent Cloud cost center and set the cost alert to 1 yuan, so that you will receive a prompt when the monthly charge occurs.
Application Steps
- Open the Tencent Cloud official website and log in. After successfully logging in, move your mouse to the avatar in the upper right corner of the page and select "Account Information" for personal authentication. Personal authentication is required to use Tencent Cloud Machine Translation; if you have already been authenticated, you can skip this step.
- Open Machine Translation - Intelligent Translation - Automatic Translation - Tencent Cloud and click the "Use Now" button. After logging in, you will enter the Tencent Machine Translation Service Console.
- Choose to activate the paid version.
- Create an access key. Hover your mouse over the avatar in the upper right corner of the webpage, then select Access Management, and then in the left menu select Access Keys - API Key Management. It is best not to create keys directly, as keys created by the main account can access all resources in your account. Therefore, for safety, choose to create a sub-account, and in the "User Permissions" section, search for "Machine Translation" and only check this item.
- After successfully creating, you will see the "SecretId" and "SecretKey" of this sub-account. Fill them into this extension!
