The answer is yes, Saladict does not collect any user privacy data, nor will it use any user privacy data for commercial purposes. The privacy data used in the extension includes the following:

API Keys for Translation Services

The keys you apply for will only be saved in the browser and will not be uploaded even if data synchronization is enabled. Although this means you'll need to import the key again each time you use Saladict on a new browser, I believe this is worth it to ensure the security of your key.

API Request Data for Translation Services

Saladict will only send the text you select to the servers of various translation platforms, and will not send it to any third parties.

User Usage Data

The extension will record user usage data, which is used to analyze the extension's performance and user usage habits. This data will not be used for any commercial purposes, and this option can be turned off in the "Privacy Settings" option in the extension settings.

Wordbook and History Data
