Models and Pricing
For detailed information about Tongyi Qianwen models, please refer to the Tongyi Qianwen Pricing Documentation. The following models are suitable for translation:
- qwen-long: Input price is ¥0.5 per million tokens, output price is ¥2 per million tokens
- qwen-turbo: Input price is ¥2 per million tokens, output price is ¥6 per million tokens
- qwen-plus: Input price is ¥4 per million tokens, output price is ¥12 per million tokens
- qwen-max: Input price is ¥40 per million tokens, output price is ¥120 per million tokens When activating the service, you'll receive a one-time gift of 1 million tokens valid for 30 days. You can check your remaining balance in Overview | Model Service Credits under "Models I've Used". "Input" refers to the text you send to the model for translation, while "output" refers to the translation result provided by the model. The final cost for one translation = number of input tokens * input price + number of output tokens * output price. 1 token approximately equals 1 Chinese character or 3-4 letters.
Application Steps
- Register an Account
Go to Alibaba Cloud DashScope Console and follow the prompts to register or log in.
- Get API Key
Go to API keys, click [Create New API-KEY], enter "Saladict Translation" as the name to create a new API key, and copy it for later use.
- Enter API Key in Saladict Translation
Open Saladict Translation's [Settings] - [Dictionary Accounts], find [Tongyi Qianwen] and click the [Manage Key] button, then paste the API key you copied in the previous step.
- Optional: Switch Models
Saladict Translation uses the qwen-turbo model by default, but you can configure it to use other models.
